About

Kyndalyn Correll is a 24‑year‑old, self teaching mixed media artist whose work transforms whimsical imagination into vibrant creations that blur the line between fantasy and reality. She uses the phrase “self-teaching” rather than “self-taught” because she embraces a life of constant learning.

Growing up facing struggles with dyslexia, deep sensitivity, social insecurities, and complex family dynamics, she found refuge in creative daydreaming, and make believe. Creating art to express herself was always something she carried with her, but photography and acting became the main early outlets for self‑expression. Until everything shifted in 2018 when she purchased her first professional watercolor set. What began as a fun hobby quickly evolved into a passionate pursuit of healing through art.

Today, Kyndalyn’s work is a diary of her ongoing journey of self acceptance, reflection and discovery through the different seasons of life. Her creations speak with emotion, curiosity, hope and sometimes confusion as she explores her mental landscape through everchanging styles and mediums. When it’s time to create she lets every piece begin with a feeling, a color, a dream, a passing thought, an experience or a memory. Her process is intuitive but also structured, blending spontaneity with meticulous detail.

As an artist, Kyndalyn likes to say, “To put yourself into a box, is to abandon your inner child”. For her, refusing to niche down is an act of protecting her inner child. It's a reminder that creativity thrives when it’s allowed to wander. She is constantly experimenting with new styles, techniques, and mediums, embracing the excitement (and awkwardness) of being a beginner. Recently, she has stepped into ceramic sculpting and underglaze painting. As well as clothing design and upcycling,  expanding her visual language beyond the canvas and discovering new ways to bring her whimsical worlds to life. For her, creativity is not a fixed identity, it’s an evolving practice that grows with you during every moment of existence.

Inspired by filmmakers like Wes Anderson, pop culture, music across generations, and everyday experiences, Kyndalyn’s work invites viewers into a world where reality dissolves and wonder becomes all-consuming. Through her growing social platforms, she shares not only her artwork and creative journey, but also motivational content aimed at dreamers, creatives, and anyone seeking light in dark places. She shares her story through documenting the messiness, but also the breakthroughs. Her mission is to build a community where creativity becomes a bridge to authenticity and transformation. With aspirations to showcase her work in exhibitions, media, fashion, and film, Kyndalyn is not just creating art, she’s living it, inviting others to do the same.
